Wilkins Harley Davidson Bike Show 2010

The Wilkins Harley Davidson Bike Show on August 7th was the largest in the event’s history, bringing 72 competitors from across New England to compete in Dyna, Softail, Sportster, Custom, Touring and Metric classes. Bike show-goers voted to select winners in all classes. The Wilkins Harley Davidson staff selected Richard McGinley as the winner of the Harry J Wilkins Award for the Most Creatively Customized Harley Davidson.

Contestants in the new Metric class varied from a lightly customized, restored Honda CB750 to a radically chopped and lowered, florescent orange and black GLS Suzuki. Bradley Forty won first place for his custom Hayabusa, followed by Jeff Otero for his custom V-Max and Ken Alger for his Honda Rune.

Cliff Crandall of Enfield NH won first place in the Sportster class for his 1989 Bobber and second place in the Custom Class for his Bourget. Other multiple winners were Rick Nott who won second place in the Touring Class for “Night Train” and second in the Softail class; Pierce Reid who won 1st place in the Touring class and Best in Show; and Bradley Forty who won first place in the Custom class and the Metric class.
